2026 after-exam guide for Filipino nurses
After DHA Prometric Pass Letter: What Filipino Nurses Should Check Next
Passing DHA Prometric is a big milestone. But it is not the same thing as having every licensing and employment step finished. Before you resign, pay an agency, accept a homecare offer, or fly, slow down and check what the pass letter means in your actual DHA/Sheryan path.
Pass Letter Means: You Passed The Exam Step
It is normal to celebrate. You proved you can handle the CBT requirement for your path. But the next question is: what else is still pending before you can legally work under the right title in the right facility?
Pass Letter Does Not Automatically Mean
Exam pass and active professional license are not the same operational status.
Your PSV or document checks may still need completion, clarification, or employer follow-up.
Employers may still require experience, specialty exposure, visa fit, or license activation steps.
Salary, duty hours, patient load, accommodation, and leave still need careful checking.
Seven Things To Check Before Accepting An Offer
- What exact job title will be written in the offer?
- Does the facility support DHA license activation or only hire with eligibility?
- Is DataFlow complete, pending, or requiring additional documents?
- Is the salary split clear: basic, allowance, accommodation, transportation, overtime?
- What are duty hours, weekly days off, patient assignment, and location?
- Who pays for visa, insurance, uniform, training, and any licensing-related cost?
- What happens if license activation is delayed?
If You Are Still In The Philippines
- Keep PRC, passport, school, experience, and good-standing documents accessible.
- Do not send original documents to strangers without a clear legal reason and trusted process.
- Ask employers or agencies for written details, not only voice notes or chat promises.
- Keep studying basic clinical English because interviews may test your communication.
